Executive Chef Yosef
Oldak
Executive Chef Yosef Oldak - Not a newcomer to the cooking
industry, he has been pleasing palettes in various Five Star
Pesach hotels over the last 15 years serving the most delectable
dishes imaginable. Yosef is the owner and operator of Oldak
Caterers, located in the Five Towns in N.Y. He caters elegant
weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, dinners and weekend retreats. Yosef is
also the chef at Yeshiva Toras Emes, and keeps himself busy in the
summers as the executive chef and kitchen manager for Camp Dora
Golding for Boys where he feeds over 800 people every day. Between
his catering and camp experiences, Yosef is sure to please every
one in your family. (Just make sure to leave your scale at home
and pack a bigger belt!)
Yosef has worked closely with Michael (a chef himself) to plan
each day's menu carefully to include every possible choice of
delicacies such as lamb, veal, Prime rib, duck, fresh fish, and of
course chicken. The side dishes will be so delicious and varied
you won't even remember it's Pesach (let alone non gebrokts!)
Kashruth
Rabbi Yosef Abecasis
Rabbi Yosef Abecasis will be serving as head Mashgiach under the
Hashgocha of Rabbi Shlomo Gissinger Shlita Rav D'Khal Zichron
Yaakov, Lakewood NJ. Ches K - Chelkas Hakashrus. Rabbi Abecasis
and his crew of mashgichim will be overseeing every aspect of the
Dining & Hotel services. From the Kashering of all three kitchens
to the food preparation to the hotel rooms themselves, he will be
adhering to the extremely high standard of Kashrus that the
Hashgocha demands - Chasidishe Shechita, Cholov Yisroel, Hand
Shmura Matzo & Non Gebrokts.
Rabbi Shlomo Gissinger
We are honored to announce that Harav Shlomo Gissinger of Khal
Zichron Yaakov in Lakewood, NJ, will be filling the position as
Mora DAsra for Pesach Time Tours, and will be joining us for
Pesach. Rabbi Gissinger is one of the leading Rabbanim and Poskim
in America today, and during Pesach will be giving a variety of
different Shiurim, lectures, and open discussion forums.
Rabbi Gissinger will be addressing contemporary issues as well as
in depth Halachic issues. Additionally, feel free to request a
private meeting with Rabbi Gissinger as he regularly deals with
every topic and concern from around the globe.
Hotel Activities
In addition to a huge indoor pool (separate swimming), golf
course, & tennis courts, the hotel will also be featuring a full
game room which will be equipped with ping pong tables, foosball,
pool table, loads of board games and card tables.
Day Camp
The Day camp will have many fun filled activities including
scavenger hunts, animal shows, clowns, jugglers, face painting, &
a trip to Fuzzy McGooz' Teddy Bear Factory. Brent Nixon will also
being doing a special show just for the kids. There will be many
things to keep children of all ages occupied. Babysitters will be
available during the day, and walking the floors at night so you
can enjoy the shows, concerts, tea room, or even a dip in the pool
all the while knowing that your children are being looked after.
